Agent Instructions

To make your agent work correctly with the NGL Development MCP server, download the instruction file and connect it to your agent.

NGL_MCP_AGENT_INSTRUCTIONS.md
Download

Claude Code

  1. Save the file into the root folder of your project - the one you open in Claude Code.
  2. Add this line to the CLAUDE.md file in the same folder:
    @NGL_MCP_AGENT_INSTRUCTIONS.md
    If CLAUDE.md does not exist yet, create it with this line. The line must be plain text, not inside a code block.
  3. Start a new session. On first launch, approve the file import if Claude Code asks.
  4. Verify: ask the agent version NGL instruction? - it must answer with the version from the file header. To find the current version, open NGL_MCP_AGENT_INSTRUCTIONS.md: the version is stated in the first lines of the file, for example:
    Version: 2026-06-10.3 (image receiving rules)
    The agent's answer must match this line. If it names a different version or does not know, the file was not loaded; check the path and restart the session.

Other Agents

Pass the file content to your agent as system instructions (system prompt / custom instructions). The instructions must be loaded in every session, not pasted once into a chat message.

Important: after every update of the file, start a new session - the agent reads the instructions at startup.
